This holiday weekend I:
- Wednesday: paroled early at work! went home and cleaned, cleaned, cleaned for my mom’s arrival later that night. we watched Beauty and the Beast, Bones, and Psych, and then went to bed. i slept on the couch, it was amazing as always.
- Thursday: Thanksgiving! woke up somewhat early and made coffee. i enjoyed this delicious coffee while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Mom came out of the bedroom at about the time the dancing penguins rocked the TV screen. fire Department showed up to the building next to mine, three trucks in all, and one being a ladder truck [see picture: http://yfrog.com/9fym8bj] FOOTBALL afterwards. I put the turkey breast in the oven, and started the potatoes too early, but dinner came out good [see picture: http://yfrog.com/65vk80j]. i didn’t realize i had to bake my Marie Calenders pumpkin pie, so in the oven that went. we then watched HP6, and went to bed.
- Friday: baked cookies, and sent mom home early afternoon with cookies and leftover rolls. watched Eat, Love, Pray and other mindless tv movies. favorite of the day: Because I SAID SO. <3 Mandy Moore.
- Saturday: even MORE football! UCF won against Memphis. there was also a Heroes marathon on G4 which I watched while reading The Wizard Heir. cold front came through, and the sun finally popped out in the afternoon. best moment: when the football announcer called the Citrus Bowl an ashtray in comparison to the new BrightHouse Stadium.
- Sunday: even more delicious coffee. catching up on the internets, and quite possibly a movie [Love and Other Drugs].
